Manesha Ruparel (Partner and Head of the Family Law Department)

Manesha joined the practice in 2010 having qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. Manesha specialises in family work including Divorce, Finances, Separation, Children and Cohabitation matters.

Niall joined the practice in 2002 having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. He became a Partner in October 2007. Niall specialises in Personal Injury and Civil Litigation.

Nigel Chubb (Partner)

 

Nigel Chubb qualified in 1976 and from 1977 to 1992 practised in Alfreton in a general practice undertaking all areas of legal work. From 1992 he has specialised in the areas of Company, commercial, commercial property and employment work on behalf of employers.

 

He spent several years heading the commercial department of a large firm in Leeds before returning to Derbyshire where he joined a local firm of solicitors before setting up his own practice and ultimately joining HMT.

 

Nigel Chubb has had considerable experience in all areas of the law relevant to both large and small businesses and is able to advise on all commercial legal issues that may arise for a company or employer including sales, purchasers, mergers, commercial contracts, employment issues and commercial property.

David Hardy (Consultant)

 

David has practised in Church Street, Ripley since 1969. He is a former President of Derby and District Law Society. He specialises in Personal Injury work and was a partner with Arthur Titterton for over twenty-five years. He is now a Consultant.

John A. Clarke (Consultant)

John qualified in 1976 and was a partner in a large firm of solicitors in the Derby area before leaving in 1988 and setting up his own office in Ripley, where he practised for four years. An opportunity arose in his home village of Duffield in 1992 and he took the opportunity to transfer his business to 14 Town Street, Duffield, where he continued to work as a sole practitioner until April 2011 when his firm merged with our own.

Samantha Thompson (Trainee Solicitor)

Sam has been with the Practice for 3 years. She is currently in the latter stages of her training before she becomes a fully fledged Solicitor. She has a rare and singular talent in the Private Law Department majoring in Probate, Wills and Power of Attorney.
